Meet Our Team
Office Manager – Lynn has more than four decades of experience in dentistry. She studied at Bryman Vocational School and received a BA in Social Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BS in Health Education from Trenton State College. At Lawrenceville Smiles, Lynn oversees the team and makes sure everyday operations are smooth and efficient. Lynn loves working with patients and dealing with the challenges of running the office. She enjoys working with Dr. Scalia, witnessing his warmth and skill in patient care and appreciates her exceptional, dedicated team. When not at work, Lynn enjoys gardening, taking a spin in her husband’s classic car and spending time with Bella, her granddaughter.
Patient Coordinator – Kim has more than three decades of experience in dentistry. She learned her vast array of skills in the Dental Assisting Program at Mercer County Community College. Kim is on the front lines of patient communication at Lawrenceville Smiles. She schedules appointments, sends new patient packets and letters, greets patients and handles insurance forms. She’s also a whiz when it comes to IT issues and social media. Kim loves working with the patients and the friendly, caring staff. When not in the office, Kim raises monarch butterflies, bakes wonderfully fancy cupcakes and enters baking contests.
Judy Ruggeri Caudwell
Registered Dental Hygienist – Judy has more than four decades of experience in dentistry. She studied at Orange Coast College and Middlesex County College and received a BS in Health Care Management at Rutgers University. Judy works one-on-one with Lawrenceville Smiles patients to discover the most effective way to manage their dental health. She works diligently with patients to prevent and treat periodontal disease and provides education for quality home hygiene. Judy loves treating patients in a clinical setting and truly appreciates the high quality care Dr. Scalia and the rest of our team provide. She loves dentistry so much that she shares her experience and knowledge as a faculty member teaching clinical hygiene at Rutgers University to dental hygiene students. When not at work, Judy enjoys cooking, baking, taking long walks with her husband and spending time with her family and friends.
Registered Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant – Tara has more than 16 years of experience in dentistry. She studied at Ocean County College and Dental Assistant Services. Here at Lawrenceville Smiles, patient comfort is Tara’s primary job. She documents treatment plans, gathers records and keeps clinical areas running smoothly. Her advanced training gives her the skill to work directly with patients on treatment. Tara loves being part of a team that puts patients’ health and confidence first. When not in the office, Tara loves to hike, kayak, camp and garden. In fact, she became a certified Rutgers Master Gardener of Mercer County in 2015.
