Lindsey

Registered Dental Hygienist

Lindsey Davies is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist at Lawrenceville Smiles, where she brings her passion for patient care and education to every appointment. A graduate of Rowan College at Burlington County, Lindsey has been in the dental field for five years and recently joined the Lawrenceville Smiles team.

Her commitment to helping patients achieve optimal oral health goes beyond routine cleanings—she takes the time to educate each individual on proper at-home care and the connection between oral and systemic health. Lindsey also has a growing interest in myofunctional therapy and hopes to expand her expertise in the future.

Lindsey’s own experiences as a dental patient, including undergoing jaw surgery as a teenager, inspired her to pursue a career in dental hygiene. She values the relationships she builds with patients over time and finds fulfillment in helping them maintain healthy, confident smiles.

Outside of the office, Lindsey enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved tuxedo cat, Sweetpea. On weekends, you might find her at Brick House Tap & Tavern, enjoying great food and live music. She is proud to be part of a team that truly cares about its patients and strives for excellence in everything they do.

Angela

Director of Marketing & Business Development

With a background in research and development, Angela brings a fresh perspective to her role as Marketing & Business Development Manager at Lawrenceville Smiles. She earned her degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and pursued post-graduate studies in Neuroscience at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Angela spent eight years at Johnson & Johnson as a principal scientist, including three years managing Neutrogena’s Franchise R&D before transitioning to Oral Care R&D, where she contributed to research and development for Listerine. Her expertise in consumer-focused innovation now helps drive Lawrenceville Smiles’ marketing efforts, patient engagement, and practice growth.

She first stepped into the dental world when helping the practice during an office manager’s absence. What started as a temporary role turned into a fulfilling career, where she enjoys making a meaningful impact on both the team and patients. She modernizes practice operations, leads strategic marketing initiatives, and fosters professional relationships to enhance the patient experience.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Scalia, and their two dogs, Bella and Mia. She loves fitness—especially Pilates—and exploring new restaurants. Passionate about science and community, she previously volunteered at a stem cell research lab in Chicago.

Energetic, bubbly, smart, authentic, and caring, Angela is dedicated to helping Lawrenceville Smiles thrive and ensuring patients feel like family.

Lynn

Office Manager

Lynn has more than four decades of experience in dentistry. She studied at Bryman Vocational School and received a BA in Social Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BS in Health Education from Trenton State College. At Lawrenceville Smiles, Lynn oversees the team and makes sure everyday operations are smooth and efficient.

A member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers, she received the award of professional distinction. Lynn loves working with Dr. Scalia, witnessing his warmth and skill in patient care and appreciates our exceptional, dedicated team. When not at work, Lynn enjoys boating, classic cars with her husband, and spending time with Bella & Gigi, her granddaughters.

Tara

Registered Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant

Tara has more than 25 years of experience in dentistry. She has worked in a variety of specialty offices, and the prosthodontic specialty is her favorite. Her advanced training gives her the skill to work directly with patients on treatment. The most fulfilling part of her chosen profession is helping to restore her patient’s smiles and confidence.

When she is not in the office, Tara loves to garden. In fact, she became a certified Rutgers Master Gardener of Mercer County in 2015. She also loves to travel, kayak, camp, hike, and swim at the beach. Tara and her husband Eric have several “furry children”.

Rosemarie

Patient Coordinator

With a dental career that began in 1993, Rosemarie brings decades of experience and heartfelt care to her role as Patient Coordinator at Lawrenceville Smiles. A graduate of Bucks County Technical School with additional training from the Community College of Philadelphia, she’s worn many hats—from dental assisting to front desk leadership. Rosemarie keeps our schedule running smoothly and goes above and beyond to help patients feel comfortable and confident about their care. Her compassion and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of our team. Outside the office, Rosemarie enjoys cooking, traveling with her husband, and spending time with family. She’s also proudly supported Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society for over 14 years.

Karen

Certified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Assistant

Karen is a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant with 13 years of experience in the dental field. She received her education and training from Brookdale College and Dental Assistant Services with Gail Scarola. Karen joined our practice in 2024 and has quickly become an integral part of our team, dedicated to ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental visits.

What Karen loves most about her job is the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients’ lives, helping them achieve optimal oral health in a caring and supportive environment. Her passion for dentistry stems from a desire to help people and build meaningful relationships with those she cares for.

If Karen weren’t working in dentistry, she would likely be volunteering with animals, a cause that is close to her heart. Outside of the office, Karen enjoys exploring new places, visiting the beach, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, and spending quality time with her family.

Karen finds our practice unique due to the warm, welcoming atmosphere, the genuine care provided to each patient, and the strong teamwork among staff members. We are proud to have Karen as part of our team, and we know you’ll appreciate her gentle approach and expertise during your visits.

Angelica

Angelica has been working in dentistry for five years and recently joined our team at Lawrenceville Smiles. She graduated from Fortis Institute in Lawrenceville with a certificate in dental assisting and is a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), currently studying to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).

At the office, she assists chairside, takes X-rays, and helps keep everything running smoothly. Angelica is passionate about making patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit. Outside of work, you’ll find her cooking up new recipes, hitting the gym at 3 a.m., or spending time with her niece, Alia.
